Testing begun at Cornell University

After several meeting with staff at Cornell's Human Ecology Lab, we've decided on a testing protocol for the XeroGear vest. I had the opportunity to visit the lab as they were setting up on “Walter” -- the thermal test manikin developed by Dr. Jintu Fan. As I mentioned in a previous post, this system is designed to measure clothing insulation values, body heat loss, and moisture transfer from body surfaces.

John Wu (above) is the supervising Test Engineer at Cornell Universityʼs Human Ecology Lab. Testing is expected to take several weeks, and I'll post the results as soon as I have them.
